ConRateMiner: Integrating Consulting Services Purchase with Celonis EMS

In the evolving landscape of the consulting and IT services sector, process mining is reshaping the competitive dynamics. Despite the industry's overall growth, the consulting field is rapidly evolving due to various transformative technologies and a widespread focus on cost optimization. This work explores the interconnection of consulting services and process mining, focusing on the key aspects: Data-driven Decision Making, Cost optimization, Operational Excellence, Root-Cause Analysis, and Strategic Planning. The ConRateMiner, an innovative application seamlessly integrating consulting services assessment with process mining approach in Celonis EMS (Execution Management system) is being introduced. Developed to enhance decision-making, optimize costs, and improve process performance, ConRateMiner positions itself as a valuable asset in the Celonis Marketplace. Recognizing the limitations of traditional approaches, the proposed work unfolds the potential of Celonis EMS to uncover inefficiencies and untapped potential within operations. The validation phase ensures ConRateMiner meets requirements, offering an objective evaluation system that classifies consultants based on daily rates and promotes transparent decision-making. Furthermore, the application introduces a rate card model and skill definitions to optimize costs, facilitating a thorough analysis and comparison of consultant rates while striking a balance between expertise and budget.
