Design and Implementation of Emergency Monitoring Base Robot
Air pollution resulting from sudden atmospheric environmental incidents significantly impacts the economic development and public health in affected regions. Precise quantitative emergency monitoring and assessment are critical tasks for environmental authorities. Traditional emergency monitoring primarily relies on human labor; however, it is challenging for personnel to access hazardous core areas, such as the incident site. Consequently, manually collected data often lack timeliness, accuracy, and comprehensiveness. The tracked base robot is a pivotal element of the system, fulfilling an essential function. Designed as a versatile mobile platform, it boasts robust data processing and storage capabilities, enabling it to receive, integrate, and analyze extensive environmental data transmitted by the leg-wheel monitoring robots. Equipped with a heavy-duty track system, the base robot ensures reliable mobility across diverse and challenging terrains, maintaining operational efficiency even under adverse conditions. Furthermore, its integrated high-capacity batteries and charging infrastructure not only supply power to the leg-wheel monitoring robots but also serve as a secure hub for maintenance and data uploads, ensuring the sustained functionality and secure data transfer within the entire monitoring network.
