Unit Commitment Considering dynamic frequency constraint and Multiple Uncertainties
Load-side inertia contributes approximately 20% of the system's total inertia, yet it is often overlooked in unit commitment models that incorporate frequency security constraints. This paper proposes a frequency-secured unit commitment model that considers the dual uncertainties of load-side inertia and wind power generation. Normal and Gaussian distributions are used to characterize the prediction errors of wind power and load-side inertia, respectively. The model is developed based on the scenario method and chance constraints. Case studies demonstrate that incorporating load-side inertia improves both the system’s economic efficiency and frequency stability.
