Optimal Dispatching of Low-carbon Communities with Integrated Source, Network, Load and Storage based on Benders Decomposition

With the increasing severity of global climate change and environmental issues, low-carbon economy has become an important goal for countries around the world. As a key carrier for low-carbon economy transformation, the optimization and dispatching of low-carbon communities gains wider concern gradually. This paper aims to propose an optimal dispatching strategy for low-carbon communities with integrated source, network, load and storage based on benders decomposition. First, an optimized operation model for low-carbon communities is established considering various flexible resources. Next, an effective model solution method based on benders decomposition is proposed. The primal optimization problem is decoupled into master problem and sub problems. The master problem determines the charging and discharging state of storage, while the sub problems check the feasibility and optimality of capacity allocation of storage. The primal problem is iteratively solved by continuously returning benders cuts from sub problems to master problems. The optimal dispatching results of low-carbon communities could ultimately be obtained through the parallel computing.
