Research on Multi-Partial Discharge Source Location in Transformer Based on SA-PSO and Direction Finding Localization
The traditional ultrasonic sensor time delay method can only locate the partial discharge (PD) source in the transformer for single point discharge, and the generation of PD is often multi-point simultaneous discharge. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi- PD source location method in transformer based on simulated annealing-particle swarm optimization (SA-PSO) algorithm and direction finding localization. Firstly, the SA-PSO algorithm is used to iteratively search the direction of arrival of the PD signal to improve the accuracy of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation. Secondly, a clustering search method is proposed to improve SA-PSO algorithm to deal with the initial particle population and solve the problem of multi-PD source optimization. In order to eliminate the false points in the case of multi-PD sources in the direction finding cross localization, a false positioning point removal method based on the principle of signal correlation is proposed. The simulation results show that the average error of the positioning method in this paper is 1 cm. Compared with the existing methods, this paper achieves a higher accuracy of multi-PD source positioning in transformer, which has theoretical reference and practical application value.
