Research on optimal power flow control and emergency voltage control of power systems considering UPFC
With the expansion of the power grid scale, the uneven distribution of power generation and load in the region, as well as the uneven distribution of power flow in transmission and transformation equipment, have become increasingly prominent. The problems of equipment overload and light load coexist, and are limited by the bearing capacity of overloaded equipment and the difficulty of fully utilizing the power supply capacity of the power grid. The UPFC is an advanced flexible AC transmission device that can solve the above problems through control measures. This article studies the strategy optimization technology and emergency voltage control technology of UPFC in supporting the operation of power grids. Finally, the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method are verified through a practical example of power grid calculation.
