Simulation analysis of tower lifting under wind load conditions with internal suspension and external tie-line holders

The internal suspension with external guy line method for tower erection is widely used in transmission line construction. In outdoor construction environments, wind load is the main influencing factor. Wind load can cause the hoisting equipment to sway, increasing the burden on the guy line system and posing a threat to construction personnel and equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the mechanical simulation of tower lifting and erection under wind loading conditions. This paper employs finite element analysis to examine the tension in the external guy lines, support ropes, and lifting ropes during the tower erection process under different working conditions. The results are compared with those calculated using empirical formulas to determine the applicability of these formulas. This study provides references for the selection of tools and equipment before construction and for real-time monitoring during the construction process.
