A new security and stability control strategy for power systems considering the output characteristics of new energy sources

With the large-scale access of new energy sources, the security and stability control of power systems has become increasingly complex, which poses a higher challenge to new control technologies. Therefore, this paper proposes a new power system security and stability control strategy considering the characteristics of new energy output. Firstly, the security and stability control index of power system is proposed by analyzing the characteristics of new energy output. Secondly, considering the safety and stability control index and the minimum load shedding as the goal, the safety and stability control model is established with the comprehensive operation risk of the new power system as the constraint. Then, aiming at the problems of slow convergence speed and failure to jump out of the local solution in time of the whale algorithm, the adaptive inertia weight and other measures are introduced to improve the whale algorithm, and the improved whale algorithm is used to solve the model. Finally, the IEEE39 node is used for simulation verification. The simulation results show that the proposed method has a good effect on improving the stability and reliability of the system.
