Research on Grounding Dispersing Characteristics and Pedestrian Safety Protection of Tower Grounding Grid Crossing Highway Subgrade
Aiming at the dissipation characteristics of transmission line tower grounding grid across the highway roadbed and pedestrian safety protection, this study uses CDEGS simulation software to establish a model of the tower grounding grid and the highway roadbed. The effects of the width of the distance between the main grounding grid and the highway, and the different auxiliary terminal forms on the shunt coefficient and step voltage of the grounding grid are analysed. A protective measure to add an insulating layer to the grounding electrode spanning the highway roadbed is proposed. The results show that: the distance between the main grounding grid and the highway exhibits differences in the influence of the grounding characteristics when the frequency is changed; the vertical-type auxiliary grounding grid is less affected by the highway roadbed than other forms of grounding grids; and the addition of an insulating layer on the grounding electrode is able to significantly reduce the roadway step voltage. The above findings can provide important reference for the grounding design of transmission line towers in towns.
