Research on Improved Algorithm for Fault Location of Wind Power Collection Lines Based on Multi Terminal Traveling Wave Information
Aiming at the high probability of faults in the collection lines of offshore wind farms, complex branching, and complex operation and maintenance environments, an improved matrix algorithm for fault location based on multi-terminal traveling wave information is proposed. The algorithm builds a fault distance matrix based on the traveling wave information obtained by high sampling at both ends of the main trunk line and the branch line terminal, defines the fault interval according to the nature of the matrix, and then accurately locates the fault location. Taking into account the distortion of the fault information, the fault distance matrix is corrected corresponding to different situations, and the dimensionality reduction is performed to form an error matrix, which improves the positioning accuracy. The practical application value of the fault location improvement algorithm proposed in this paper was verified through simulation calculations of actual wind power plant collection lines.
