Development and Application of Energy Management System for Inland River Port Microgrids

Port microgrids can promote low-carbon economic energy use in ports and facilitate resilient power supply in ports under extreme weather to ensure safe operation of ports. For port microgrids containing photovoltaic power generation systems, energy storage systems and shore power systems, the energy management system should have six modules: basic support platform, energy system modeling, optimal scheduling, system overview, project management and system management. At the level of optimal scheduling, it is necessary to ensure the effective consumption of renewable energy, port energy security and economy, while minimizing the impact on the external power grid, and realizing the coordinated development of the source network, load and storage. Different from the traditional energy monitoring platform, the developed lightweight energy management system cost-effectively realizes the comprehensive monitoring and control of the port microgrids, which can realize the efficient integration and optimal use of clean energy.
