Evaluation Method of Power System Flexible Regulation Capability for Multiple Uncertainty Scenarios

With the large-scale integration of renewable energy output with strong uncertainty, the peak load pressure of the power system is gradually increasing. Scientific evaluation method is the basis to solve the problem. A flexible regulation capacity evaluation method for power system facing multiple uncertainty scenarios is proposed. Its characteristic is that the adjusting capacity of electrical grid is accurately evaluated by taking into account the forecasting errors of load demand and renewable energy output. Firstly, the dispatching model of thermal power unit is established, and the regulation capacity is quickly calculated by using the operating state of the thermal power unit. Then, considering many uncertain factors in the system, the Latin hypercube sampling method is used to supply load and output curve of renewable energy. Secondly, the optimization model of power system regulation capacity including thermal power and energy storage equipment is established, and the difference of system regulation capacity under different scenarios is solved based on the linearization method. Finally, a simulated power system is used to prove the effectiveness of evaluation method of power system flexible regulation capability for multiple uncertainty scenarios.
