PREREQUISITES AND NECESSITY OF CREATING AN INNOVATIVE TERRITORIAL CLUSTER AS THE BASIS FOR THE INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX OF THE TAMBOV REGION

This article is devoted to the consideration of topical issues of innovative agricultural development in the context of increasing foreign policy threats. The expediency of creating innovative territorial clusters in regions that specialize in the production of agricultural products and are characterized by high rates of innovation and scientific potential is substantiated. The analysis of the main indicators of innovation activity of agricultural producers in the Tambov region: the volume of innovative products produced, the amount of costs for conducting innovation activities, the level of innovation activity, allowed us to form a conclusion about the need for integration transformations of the agro-industrial complex of the region based on the creation of an innovative territorial cluster.
