Taxonomic Notes on Kurosawaxia Descarpentries, 1986 and its Type Species, Kurosawaxia iris Descarpentries, 1986 (Coleoptera: Buprestidae: Polycestinae: Xenopsina), with New Country Record for China

This paper deals with the genus Kurosawaxia Descarpentries, 1986 and its type species, Kurosawaxia iris Descarpentries, 1986. Based on a comprehensive review of the literature, both the genus and its type species are identified as new country records for the Chinese fauna. The female terminalia and geographical variation of the newly collected specimen are described as supplemental data for the species. Comments on prior descriptions of the taxon are provided, and the status of the genus is discussed.
