THE ISSUE OF MATHEMATICS TEACHER TRAINING AND IKT

The article discusses issues related to the preparation of a mathematics teacher in higher education institu-tions. In order to study and familiarize with the relevant methodology in foreign countries, the results ob-tained by researchers Ersoy, Erbash, Dede, Akgün, Bray, Thomas, Baskan, Barysh and others are present-ed. The article also shows the positive aspects of the Singapore methodology, an analysis of the PİSA as-sessment results. It is known that the organization of the educational process in higher education is a very complex process that should include the development of students' cognitive activity and the synthesis of all the fac-tors necessary for the preparation of a highly qualified specialist. The educational process should be orga-nized in such a way that, in addition to satisfying the spiritual and scientific needs of students participat-ing in the audience, a comfortable and optimal work process is provided for them. Such an atmosphere can be organized using ICT tools, in particular the mathematical packages MathCad, Mathematica, MatLab and Marle.
