CENTRIFUGE DRIVE ASSEMBLY

This article presents an innovative design for a centrifuge drive assembly aimed at improving the reliability and load distribution in self-balancing centrifuges. The invention incorporates a rotor with liquid support, an internal cylindrical support float, and a damping device featuring elastic wheels and damping belts. The system is designed to achieve a more uniform load distribution in the radial direction, thereby reducing dynamic loads and enhancing the service life of the drive system. The proposed design addresses limitations in existing technologies, particularly in the areas of damping capacity and precession control. Through the introduction of uniformly distributed elastic wheels capable of simultaneous radial movement, this invention ensures smoother operation, reduces friction, and enhances the overall reliability of the centrifuge’s drive system. Keywords: self-balancing centrifuges, damping device, hydrostatic supports, rotor, electric motor with a drive shaft, support float.
