Productivity and quality of milk of goats of Nigerian breed when using presscakes and probiotic
Currently, there is an increase in research in the fi eld of feeding dairy goats. This is due to differences in nutrients in different territorial zones, the composition and structure of rations, and feeding regimes for small cattle. The nature of the ration aff ects not only the amount of milk produced by dairy goats, but also its composition, which aff ects the yield and quality of products. The purpose of the research was to study the productivity and quality of milk of goats of Nigerian breed when using presscakes and a probiotic. On modern approaches base to rationing ruminants, studies were carried out on the input of hemp and flaxseed presscakes, as well as the probiotic Cellobacterin+ in the ration of lactating goats of the Dwarf Nigerian breed under the conditions of the Southern Urals. According to the results of scientifi c and production experiment when using fl axseed and hemp presscakes together with the probiotic Cellobacterin+ in the rations of lactating goats, more milk was obtained per head during the experimental period by 2.1–3.6 %, the fat content in milk increased by 0.26–1.96 abs.%, feed costs per head decreased during the experimental period to 41 rubles, profi t increased by 300–453 rubles and the level of profitability of milk production by 2.2–3.2 abs.% in comparison with the control group. Thus, in order to increase milk productivity and milk quality of Nigerian goats, it is necessary to include in the ration waste from the oil and fat industry: flaxseed presscake in the amount of 10 %, hemp presscake in the amount of 5 % of its concentrated part, with the additional input of the probiotic drug Cellobacterin+ at a dose of 10 g/head/day, which will reduce the cost of the resulting products and increase the level of profi tability of milk production by 2–3 abs.%.
