Use of probiotic feed additives for poultry against the background of Glyphosate content in feed
The development of promising feed additives that help neutralize residual amounts of pesticides in the gastrointestinal tract of poultry is an urgent task. The purpose of the research was to study the effectiveness of feed additives when using feed containing residual amounts of Glyphosate in feeding of broiler chickens and laying hens. It was found that when Glyphosate was introduced into the feed, the live weight of broiler chickens by the age of 35 days decreased by 1.4 % compared to the 1st control group. In the 3rd experimental group with Glyphosate, which additionally received the probiotic Probiocid-Ultra the live weight of broilers at the age of 35 days was higher by 4.2 and 2.8 % compared to the 2nd experimental group with Glyphosate and the 1st control group. The prime-cost price of 1 kg of live weight gain of broiler chickens in the 3rd experimental group was 74.81 rubles, which was 1.1 and 3.5 % lower compared to the 1st control and 2nd experimental groups. When Glyphosate was introduced into compound feed for laying hens at a concentration of 40 mg/kg of feed, a decrease in egg production by 0.64 abs.% was observed compared to the 1st control group. Egg production per average layer during the experiment in the 3rd experimental group with the use of Glyphosate and the Cellobacterin®+ additive was higher than the 1st control group by 1.30 abs.%. The use of the probiotic additive Cellobacterin®+ made it possible to smooth out the birds reaction to the introduction of contaminated feed, as a result of which it was possible not only to avoid a drop in productivity, but also to obtain additional products. At the same time, feed costs for the production of 10 eggs were reduced to 1.23 kg, which was 3.9 % lower than in the 1st control group and 5.5 % lower than in the 2nd experimental group, which received only Glyphosate.
