JUSTIFICATION OF THE PARAMETERS OF HILLING ENCLOSURES WITH A MULCHING DEVICE FOR POTATO CULTIVATION USING COMB TECHNOLOGY
It is known that the soil should be loose, capable of retaining heat and moisture in certain parameters that contribute to better development of potato plants, when hilling potatoes. In the article, much attention is paid to the issues of creating a fine-grained structure in the ridge during hilling. Particular importance is given to the creation of an earthing working element with a device for mulching the surface of the ridge, which allows for a fine-grained structure of lumps of about 10 mm on mediumbound soils, when developing the design of a row cultivator. It has been established that during the hilling process, various forces act on the cultivator section both in magnitude and direction, which destroy the soil layer cut by the earthing working element to the limits corresponding to agrotechnical requirements. The design of the working element (ridger) with a device for mulching, the soil layer cut by the ridger based on the diagram of forces acting on the cultivator section, with rigid connections and the equation of moments is proposed by the authors to solve these issues. Equations for the deepening and deepening moments of the coulter for the sections of the row-crop cultivator in the form of reactions of the soil layer being cut depending on the width of the section roller and the soil compaction coefficient are obtained using the Goryachkin equation. It is shown that the system has one degree of freedom if the value of the unit's movement speed is constant, and is described in the form of the corresponding equation for kinetic energy. It is established that the force is conservative if the additional force on the section of the row-crop cultivator is produced by compressing the spring, and is written in the appropriate form. The corresponding conclusions that contribute to a decrease in the angle of deviation of the section along the depth of the cultivator's ridgers are made on the basis of theoretical studies in the final result.
