Hide Mastermind using an Intermediate Connection on Social Network
The rise of the internet and social media has revolutionized social network analysis, but it has also heightened concerns about privacy. The mastermind plays a crucial role in organizing and coordinating network activities. In certain contexts, such as safeguarding vulnerable groups or avoiding detection, they must conceal their connections to effectively carry out these operations. How can a mastermind effectively avoid detection in social network analysis? In this paper, we introduce an efficient algorithm named HMIC (Hide Mastermind using an Intermediate Connection), designed to conceal the mastermind within a hidden community. Experiments on Facebook networks reveal that HMIC hides the mastermind more effectively than existing state-of-the-art.
