Building facade design and optimization based on computer technology and improved genetic algorithm

Building facade design plays a crucial role in enhancing energy efficiency. It is also important to reduce environmental impact by implementing high-performance systems. Achieving a balance among the various design variables to meet multiple optimization goals presents complex challenges. This study explores the application of a computer-improved genetic algorithm to optimize facade design. The effectiveness of the improved genetic algorithm is demonstrated by addressing the conflicting design requirements and producing optimal solutions that enhance energy efficiency while minimizing environmental harm. Our results indicate that the proposed facade design framework provides a comparative design and performance analysis against other solutions, enabling informed decision-making. Using improved genetic algorithms significantly enhances facade design processes' feasibility and time efficiency. This study emphasizes the importance of using advanced algorithms to optimize building facades, ensuring aesthetic appeal and environmental sustainability in modern architectural practices. The results confirm that this method effectively reduces environmental impact while increasing energy efficiency.
