The influence of the physical training program (with military pentathletics) on the special physical fitness of cadets of the military college of sergeants

Topicality. The article examines the impact of a physical training program using military pentathlon on the formation of physical readiness of cadets of the sergeant's military college of the National Academy of Ground Forces (VKSS NASV) of future department (platoon) commanders for professional combat activities. According to the analysis of questionnaires with teachers of physical education in various military colleges of Ukraine, military pentathlon is one of the best means of special physical training of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, in the sources and literature available to us, there is no information about the use of military pentathlon as a means of physical education in the training of sergeants - future commanders of divisions (platoons) of assault units. In this regard, a study was conducted, the purpose of which is to determine the results of the physical training program's impact on the special physical fitness of military college cadets studying in a two-year program. Material and methods. Analysis, systematization, generalization, pedagogical testing, experiment, and methods of mathematical statistics were used to achieve the goal. The main differences in the content used in the experimental and control groups were as follows: the latter used a traditional (characteristic for the training of most cadets) structure and content, that is, those used classically in the physical training of military personnel; the physical training program (with the means of military pentathlon) took into account specific factors that determine the specifics of the activity and training of cadets - future commanders of divisions (platoons) of assault units. The results. After conducting a pedagogical (formative) experiment, we obtained a result that testifies to the high effectiveness of this program, namely, reliably high results of special physical fitness after the experiment in comparison with the initial level. Conclusion. The developed structure and content of the program for the physical training of cadets, using military pentathlon as a tool, should be applied in the practical activities of cadets of military colleges - future commanders of divisions (platoons) of assault units. Because this program has confirmed positive and reliable changes in all six exercises listed below.
