Research on Combined Acoustic and Optical Detection Method for Voltage-Induced Thermal Defects in Power Cables
For the problem of infrared detection failure of voltage-induced thermal defects in power cables, a combined acousto-optic detection method based on acoustic detection and infrared detection is proposed. First, the failure mechanism of infrared detection is theoretically analyzed to clarify the key influencing factors, and its infrared failure boundary conditions are verified. Then, the boundary conditions of acoustic pattern detection and infrared detection are comprehensively analyzed, and the specific method of acousto-optic joint detection is proposed. Finally, the acousto-optic joint detection platform is developed. Simulation tests and on-site case analysis show that the adopted joint detection method can quickly and accurately identify voltage-induced thermal defects, effectively solving the problem of identifying voltageinduced thermal defects in power cables.
