Research on the Application of Cloud-Edge Collaborative Computing Model in IoT Scenarios

This project studies the cloud-edge collaboration model for typical IoT scenarios such as smart homes. First, this paper intends to combine cloud computing technology with the low-latency characteristics of edge computing to improve real-time performance and data processing efficiency. Then a cloud computing-edge collaboration framework suitable for IoT applications is proposed. After the initial data processing is completed at the border node, the data that needs to be deeply analyzed is uploaded to the cloud to achieve higher efficiency. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified through simulation experiments. Experiments have shown that compared with traditional cloud computing models, the data processing speed, latency and bandwidth utilization of cloud-edge collaborative computing have been significantly improved. Especially in smart home systems, this model can effectively interact between devices and meet real-time needs. After precise data analysis and simulation calculations, it is proved that this method is effective and feasible.
