Optimization Configuration Method for Reactive Power Compensation Devices in the Receiving End Power Grid Considering Post-Fault Power Transfer
In response to the voltage stability issues of the receiving-end power grid caused by HVDC faults or new energy power fluctuations, a optimization configuration method for reactive power compensation devices considering post-fault power transfer is proposed. Firstly, a comprehensive evaluation index based on power transfer factor, line loading rate, and voltage vulnerable node indicator is used to screen the set of voltage stability vulnerable nodes in the receiving-end power grid. Then, an optimization scheme for the configuration of reactive power compensation devices based on the electrical distance index is proposed, effectively addressing the risk of voltage instability in important AC transmission channels faced by the receiving-end power grid after HVDC faults or new energy power fluctuations. Finally, the proposed method is verified by a case of a provincial power grid in China.
