A Path Guidance Method Based on the Internet of Vehicles for Parking System
Current parking space guidance methods predominantly rely on shortest-distance strategies, overlooking dynamic factors such as potential space occupancy risks. This limitation reduces the system's flexibility in dynamic environments, making it challenging to provide optimal guidance to drivers. To address these challenges, an improved parking guidance method based on the Internet of Vehicles environment is proposed. Through vehicle networking technology, the driving direction and current position of the vehicles in the parking lot are obtained in real time. Then the probability of each parking space occupied by the front car is calculated. Considering the occupancy probability and driving distance of the parking spaces, the most reasonable parking space is recommended for subsequent vehicle. This method significantly improves the parking efficiency of users and provides technical support for the further development of intelligent parking system.
