Multiplicação com diferentes significados e o uso das tecnologias digitais: uma revisão narrativa

This research aims to carry out a state-of-the-art literature review on the multiplication operation teaching, exploring its different meanings and the use of digital technological resources. The methodology involved a qualitative and bibliographic research, based on narrative review, in which 13 studies found in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (DLTD) and in the eduCAPES portal were analyzed. The results show that the use of digital technologies, such as educational software, interactive games and simulation applications, expand the possibilities of teaching and learning by providing a dynamic and participatory environment, favoring problem solving and practical experimentation. In addition, the different meanings of multiplication – such as the addition of equal portions, combinatorial reasoning, rectangular arrangement and proportionality – collaborate to develop students' mathematical thinking. The analysis demonstrates that pedagogical strategies that integrate technology and the various meanings of multiplication contribute to the construction of a more effective teaching.
