Study of probiotic properties of some representatives of the genus Weissella

The review is devoted to the study of probiotic properties of microorganisms of the genus Weissella. Modern data are presented that experimentally confirm the positive role of the W. confuse species. The signs of probiotic organisms in W. confuse strains have been described. Their ability to produce glucooligosaccharides, a protective protein system, the ability to produce H2O2, and the ability to adhere to intestinal cells.
