Effectiveness of bamboo boobs poc on the growth of madesta F1 melon using a hydroponic system
This research aims to determine the growth and production of melon (Cucumis melo L.) hydroponically using the Deep Flow Technique (DFT) system using POC bamboo shoots. This research was carried out from June to November 2024 at the Pakea Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, North Toraja Regency. This research is a single-factor study using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with five treatment levels, namely R0 = no POC (control), R1 = 90% AB mix and 10% POC bamboo shoots, R2 = 80% AB mix and 20% POC bamboo shoots, R3 = 70% AB mix and 30% POC bamboo shoots, and R4 = 60% AB mix and 40% POC bamboo shoots. The results showed that the 90% AB mix and 10% POC treatment gave the best results in terms of number of leaves, leaf area, number of flowers, fruit diameter, fruit weight, and fruit weight per plot.
