Estrategias para fortalecer la práctica docente a través de metodologías basadas en proyectos: caso de una universidad en el estado de Puebla
In Mexico, there is an increasing need to address the growing demand for professionals in computer science, systems engineering and information technology; consequently, many higher education institutions have developed various didactic strategies to make this knowledge more accessible to students. Following this trend, the present study focuses on the strategies implemented in the Computer Systems Engineering program at the Universidad Interserrana del Estado de Puebla - Chilchotla to enhance the teaching-learning experience. The state-of-the-art review explores and presents similar experiences to those analyzed in this research. The methodology section describes the actions carried out within the framework of action research, applying project-based learning. It provides a detailed explanation of the design of a guiding document for all software production within the institution, aimed at automating a significant number of processes in its quality management system. The results section presents completed and ongoing software production projects. In the discussion, the outcomes are analyzed in relation to similar experiences. Finally, the conclusions section outlines potential future directions, such as continuing software development until an ERP system is fully consolidated, as well as identifying potential risks to be addressed.
