Does God Image and Conscientiousness impact Spiritual Consciousness?
The research investigates the influence of God Image and Conscientiousness on Spiritual Consciousness among college students. A random sample of 150 undergraduate students, aged 20 to 25 years, from Dayalbagh Educational Institute was assessed using the God Image scale by Lawrence, the Spiritual Consciousness Scale (SCS-SIA) by Sethi Das and Satsangi, and the Big Five Inventory by John and Srivastava. Data analysis was conducted using a two-way ANOVA. The findings reveal a significant effect of God Image (A) on students' Spiritual Consciousness (F=19.10, p<0.01). Students with a high God Image (M=142.32) exhibit greater Spiritual Consciousness compared to those with a low God Image (M=129.6). Additionally, Conscientiousness significantly influences Spiritual Consciousness (F=9.15, p<0.01), with students high in Conscientiousness (M=141.37) showing more Spiritual Consciousness than those low in Conscientiousness (M=130.55).
