Épistémologie féminine et codage masculin du récit social
Abstract Feminine epistemology, rooted in lived experience and interactions with the environment, is presented as an alternative to the dominant models of knowledge production. The text highlights the central role of women in cultural and religious spheres, elevating them to the status of epistemological authorities, through examples such as the "feminine precedence" in Serer creation myths. It also underscores the importance of women in spiritual and political rituals, where they are seen as protective figures and bearers of knowledge, while exploring the effects of the patriarchal system. Finally, by emphasizing the matrilineal heritage, which has served as a form of resistance to the masculinization of power, the article calls for a reevaluation of the role of women in the construction of knowledge.
