Rethinking Mental Health
This article explores the limitations of traditional diagnostic frameworks in mental health and advocates for a transdiagnostic approach integrated with ecological momentary interventions, which is a real-time and contextually relevant treatment approach geared toward intervening in daily life. By leveraging digital technologies and real-time data collection, this approach addresses the dynamic and interconnected nature of mental disorders. We propose a model of temporal efficacy that optimizes intervention timing based on symptom patterns, enhancing treatment personalization and effectiveness. This framework bridges theoretic and practical gaps, offering a path toward more accessible and responsive mental health care.
