Conceptions of Physiotherapy students about concepts in the field of Gender and Sexuality

This article was developed based on a study conducted in the context of the Embryology curricular component taught in the first year of the Physiotherapy course at a public university in Maceió, AL. Its general objective was to investigate the senses and meanings that Physiotherapy students attribute to concepts in the field of Gender and Sexuality. This is an action research, whose data analysis was based on the assumptions of content analysis. The research presented as a potential attempt to deconstruct the discourses that reinforce standardizations and naturalization present in Embryology classes. Finally, as limiting factors, we highlight the short discussion time and the marginality of the themes.
