Assessment of Implant Take Up in Patients Suffering from Diabetic Mellitus: An Original Research
Compared to non-diabetic patients, diabetic individuals had a worse implant success rate, a higher incidence of peri-implantitis, and greater marginal bone loss. There are still many obstacles; however, patient satisfaction remains high. Improving the results of dental implant treatments for diabetic individuals requires optimal glycemic control and customised management approaches.
