Shore sets in a dendroid and Jones' function T
We study the behavior of T ( A ) , where T is the Jones' function and A is a closed shore set in a dendroid X . We show an example of a smooth dendroid X and a shore subcontinuum A of X such that T ( A ) = X . On the other extreme, we prove that if X is a fan (a dendroid with exactly one ramification point), then for each closed shore subset A of X , int X ( T ( A ) ) = ∅ .
