STATISTICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MULTIPLE REGRESSION EQUATION OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION

Constructing regression equations based on data from independent variables is an urgent task in various fields such as economics, marketing, engineering, agriculture, etc. Such an equation can be used to predict the variable under study. An equally important task is to assess the statistical significance of both the equation as a whole and the obtained regression coefficients. In the article, using the example of the multiple regression equation for agricultural production, such an assessment is made, the main criteria and formulas for their calculation are given.
