Digital Beamforming Key Technologies for Communication and Sensing Applications

With the developments of wireless communication and sensing technologies, the available spectrum resources have been best used of and are valuable. The scarcity of spectrum resources can be resolved by multimodal communication and radar integration. Digital phased arrays can achieve multi-beam forming by digital beamforming technology, which has great potential in integrated sensing and communication systems. In this session, the framework of digital beamforming will be presented and discussed, and the schemes of digital beamforming algorithms will be introduced and compared further.
