Intravenous Saline Monitoring System Powered by IoT for Patient Safety
In past few years, the healthcare business has evolved rapidly by guaranteeing that hospitalized patients recover swiftly. Hospitalized patients require proper care, surveillance, and timely nutrition supply. The demand for health prevention is increasing as the world’s population grows. All hospitals must exercise caution as this industry’s staff grows. There the idea of implementing automatic saline monitoring system including patient safety need to be developed. Saline is widely used in hospitals to treat patients who are dehydrated or suffering from various medical ailments. The suggested system includes a sensor that monitors the crucial amount of saline liquid in the bottle, displays saline and patients’ information in nurse room additional to this some necessary sensors are used for knowing patient information and buzzer for indication in any problematic cases. The device was tested after completing the necessary hardware development. The outcome was satisfactory, indicating that there could be improved patient care.
