Remarkable advances in VLSI technology over the past few decades have made what was once impossible a reality.Recently, edge computing has gained tremendous popularity, enabling billions of devices to deliver advanced functionalities, leading to an unprecedented demand for design methodologies that maximize the benefits of evolving VLSI technology.The annual special section on VLSI Design and CAD algorithms has played a vital role in disseminating these cutting-edge results.We are pleased to present this special section again this year.
