HIGH-QUALITY HUMAN RESOURCES FOR THE SEMICONDUCTOR DESIGN INDUSTRY: CURRENT SITUATION AND DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION

This article analyzes the relationship between training, technology environment, government support, and workforce quality in the semiconductor design industry in Vietnam. Data were collected from 180 employees working in companies in this sector in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The research results indicate that all three factors—training, technology environment, and government support—affect workforce quality. Particularly, the technology environment and government support play critical roles in enhancing training effectiveness and improving workforce quality.
