A total of 301 persons were recognized as being affected withbrucellosis. Simultaneously, the other 175 patients presented with alternative etiologies for their back pain.Approximately 67% of the patient cohort had acute symptoms, while subacute symptoms were seen in about 23% ofthe patient group. Chronic symptoms were seen in around 10% of the patient group. Drinking unpasteurized milkhas been recognized as the main mode of sickness transmission.
