Constructing and validating a novel prognostic risk score model for rectal cancer based on four immune-related genes
In patients with rectal cancer, CYBB, CCR4, FOXP3, and CD80 are immune-related core genes, and low expression of each gene is associated with poor clinical prognosis. The risk score obtained on their basis is independent prognostic factors for rectal cancer, suggesting that the four core genes may provide a foundation for the development of new prognostic biomarkers for rectal cancer and the study of immunotherapy.
