Two new species of Russula subgen. Russula (Russulaceae, Basidiomycota) from Dinghushan Biosphere Reserve
Two new species of Russula , namely R. atrovinaceopurpurea and R. rufoalbida, were described based on morphological and phylogenetic evidence. Phylogenetic analysis based on internal transcribed spacer (ITS) and concatenated 5-locus (nrLSU-mtSSU- rpb1 - rpb2 - tef1 - α ) datasets confirmed that these two new species were placed within the crown clade of subgen. Russula . Detailed morphological descriptions, phylogenetic analyses of the new species, and comparisons with allied taxa are presented.
