Application of homotopy analysis method to solve a class of time-fractional order mCH equations

Abstract Using the homotopy analysis method to seek the solution of a nonlinear evolution equation has been proven useful by many studies. In this paper, a class of time-fractional nonlinear differential equations is solved by utilizing the homotopy analysis method, combined with the Riemann-Liouville derivative. The fifth-order approximate solution is obtained, and the numerical solution is carried out with maple. Numerical solutions would be compared with exact solutions. The results have shown that the homotopy analysis method is an effective analytical method to solve the time-fractional order nonlinear evolution equation.
