I. Kant's Philosophy as a subject of research in Soviet Philosophy

I. Kant is one of those philosophers whose ideas have been interesting and in demand by Rus sian philosophy, starting from the initial acquaintance with them during his lifetime, and up to the present day. The analysis of Kantianism therefore acts as a necessary integral part of the intellectual history of Russia. How ever, at the moment, its significance and influence have been revealed to the greatest extent in relation to the pre-revolutionary period. Hence, the purpose of the article is to identify the main stages of the analysis of Kanti anism within the framework of Soviet philosophy and the specifics of evaluating Kant's teachings during this period. The study of this issue has sufficient historical and philosophical relevance, both because of the im portance of Kant's figure and the dialogic nature of Russian-German philosophical relations, as well as dialogic nature within Russian philosophy itself. The goal was achieved through review and analytical work. The main results of the undertaken research are expressed in the following statements. The first is that interest in Kanti an philosophy in Soviet times was somewhat "wave–like" in nature, but Kant's ideas were the subject of consid eration throughout the existence and development of Soviet philosophy. Secondly– in the analysis of Kantian philosophy, four main periods can be distinguished: the 20s; 30s – 40s; 50s – early 80s; mid-80s – early 90s of the twentieth century. Third, the evaluation of Kant's ideas in these periods is characterized by both commonal ity and difference. The commonality lies in the basic principles emanating from the classical Marxist interpreta tion of the German philosopher as a dialectical idealist, the founder of German classical philosophy, and the cre ator of a certain form of agnosticism. The difference is determined by a number of circumstances external to intellectual life and is also "undulating", from objectivity to pronounced ideologization and a return to objectivi ty. Fourth, Soviet philosophy managed to achieve a number of significant results in understanding Kant, which became the foundation for further research in the context of a return to philosophical pluralism in post–Soviet Russia. И.
