Association of sarcopenia with basic activities of daily living and dyspnea-related limitations in patients with interstitial lung disease

Sarcopenia was significantly associated with greater impairment of basic ADL and limitation of ADL by dyspnea in patients with ILD. SMI and gait speed are components of sarcopenia that affect these outcomes. Targeted interventions are needed to improve ADL and quality of life in these patients.
