Social Codefication of Papuan Culture Context on the SDGs: an Antropolinguistic Study
Objective: This study aims to uncover the problem of Papuan socio-cultural codification which has been presented in different spaces and interests and can holistically make an inventory of it into a unified whole. Theoretical Framework: The two approaches used are a theoretical approach and a methodological approach. The theoretical approach is an exploration of Anthropologuistic theory, while the methodological approach is a descriptive approach with an explanative dimension. Method: This study follows the procedures, namely the stage of providing data, stage of data analysis, and stage of presenting the results of data analysis. The data used in this study consists of primary data and secondary data. Results and Discussion: The results of this study holistically identify the problem of Papuan socio-cultural codification consisting of 5 (five) parts of the codification system, namely: Race Groups, Kinship, Traditional Politics, Cultural Areas, and Archipelago’s Imaginary Line. Research Implications: The practical implication of this study is that it can be used as a basic reference in the practice of developing human resources and natural resources in the Land of Papua, while the theoretical implication is that anthropolinguistic theory has not been able to encode the entire socio-cultural order in each ethnicity. Originality/Value: This research contributes to the development of the socio-cultural dimensions of Papua and can collaborate theoretically in other fields of science to complement developing theory.
