The problem of adaptation of migrants who have entered into a new linguistic and cultural environment
Migration is an integral part of the modern world. More and more people change their country of residence in search of better education, well paid jobs, higher living standards and for other reasons. This process requires significant material and psycho-emotional resources and it is accompanied by multiple difficulties (language, social, financial and so on) faced by migrants in the process of integration into the society of the host country. Migration has many positive (cultural exchange, international relations, etc.) and negative features (illegal border crossings, increased competition in the labour market, etc.). That makes the adaptation of foreigners in a new cultural and language environment one of the priority areas in the social sciences of our time.
