Sensor-Based High-Altitude Free-Fall Localization Device—Design of a Device for High-Altitude Free-Fall Localization

In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, humanity's exploratory ambitions extend to higher and more distant skies, as urban skylines are filled with countless modern structures. These towering skyscrapers, reaching heights of several dozen meters, not only exemplify human ingenuity and creativity but also introduce potential safety hazards. Falling objects from heights present a significant urban safety issue, posing an undeniable threat to the lives and property of pedestrians. To address this challenge, this paper proposes an innovative solution that utilizes an advanced camera system for real-time warnings of falling objects. Additionally, by integrating a laser vibrometer with the ADXL1002 accelerometer, the device can accurately measure the height from which an object falls, ensuring precise monitoring. Finally, leveraging neural network algorithms and deep learning technologies, this design aims to achieve accurate measurements of falling objects from varying heights, thereby providing more effective technical support and safeguarding urban safety management.
